QBM Restaurant opened its doors with a simple idea: Ghanaian hospitality deserves a room as good as its food.
A kitchen built on a family recipe box
QBM Restaurant began in 2023 as a single-room restaurant on the edge of Nkoranza, run by two cousins who grew up cooking their grandmother's recipes on weekends. What started as a small kitchen serving jollof and grilled tilapia grew, one regular guest at a time, into the restaurant and bar lounge you see today.
We brought bringing the same recipes with us but building a bar program and a room designed for longer nights. The name QBM Restaurant comes from the two things that never leave our kitchen: the amber glow of a slow-cooked stew, and the ash of the coal grill our chefs still cook over every night.
Today we're one of the few venues in Ashanti Region where you can start with a proper cocktail, order a full local menu, and stay late enough to catch the band. That range is intentional. We built this place to be somewhere you could come back to for a dozen different occasions.
